How We Train

We train you, the pet parents, how to train your dog. Our sessions are 40min of in person (or remote) service with daily training notes sent in the evening.

On-call Training Support

We encourage families to reach out to their trainer via text, email or even phone calls to ask questions anytime they come up, including outside of the training session. Our trainers will do their very best to respond to you the same day, but if not they will respond the following business day.

Invoice

Invoices are issued via email before your service and are to be paid by your service start time.

Payment

Our preferred method of payment is Venmo. We also accept card (debit & credit), cash, and checks. All packages are paid in one payment. All payments are due by 8am of the service date.

Cancellation Fee

$30.00 fee for same-day cancellations.

The following 3 reasons are exempt:

  • Health and wellness of dog and/or pet parent*.
  • Medical emergency of dog and/or pet parent.
  • Hazardous weather.

* Must give a 1-hour notice to be exempt.

Refunds

Mindful Training does not offer refunds. If you find that you purchased too many sessions, you can either save your remaining session(s) for a rainy day or you can donate them. Let your trainer know via email that you’d like to donate your session(s). We offer two forms of donations;

A.) Donate your session(s) to friends or family.

B.) Donate your session(s) back to Mindful Training. We will then gift your donated session the family who is next in most need of having continued training support.
